He's had a good winter up here anyway. He was just a bit upset tonight going out, he kind of whipped around and we were a bit worried. Wesley said he actually picked up better than he did the last three nights. He was impressive tonight now, he picked up well. He was left in front a long way out, but he said he kept finding and finding and finding. We were giving out as he got 7lb for being second the last day, but obviously he (handicapper) was right.

he jumped and was in my hands a little bit, so I was happy to let him travel away. He was game in the first-time blinkers and meant business today, although I thought I was chinned!. He kept going, but I thought we were done on the line. He was good two runs back when Joey Sheridan rode him.
