I have to put this win down to two people,. Fran Berry suggested putting blinkers on at Down Royal last Saturday and I also have to thank Eamon Behan the farrier here. She had pulled a shoe when we arrived and I thought we were in trouble. He was on the ball and got the shoe on and told us a few things to do. We walked her continually and got the blood up and it all came good. I like to keep the aids off as long as I can to give you a little bit in hand. It's nice to come here to the Curragh with a little bit in hand. She's owned by my sister and sister-in-law and a few friends. I also have a third share of her due to the Celtic Tiger fall out!

Fair play to Fran it was he who suggested putting cheek pieces on her and they obviously make a huge difference. We gave her a long break off over the Summer with a specific aim of running her here over the winter when it was obvious we weren't going to get a good Summer. Hopefully we can build from this and Mr O'Gorman (Flat Handicapper) won't be too hard on us.
