Andrew said he slipped a bit going into the ditch early in the straight first time round and jumped a bit big at the next few. However he was brilliant after that, and I'd hope he'll improve alot from that run. He took a blow coming out of the back straight. We ran him carrying a bit more weight today, and he's definitely filled out from last year. He's a very exciting horse to have. We had to get him out early as he loves good ground, and he could go now for the second season novices race at Down Royal.

That was great and I'm delighted with him. He jumped great and Andrew said he'll improve again as he took a little blow turning in. He'll go for the two miler in Cheltenham in November or here on the same day. He'd be a horse that you'd follow good ground with so you'd imagine you'd get that at Cheltenham.

Nina liked him when he won first time out at Cork. Paul Shanahan bought him for €80,000 at the Derby sale, but sold him to Alan Potts after that victory. We expect him to make a very good hurdler and he is a real chaser in the making.
