You could do anything with her - hurdles/fences and back on the flat and she is hardy as nails. To be squeezed out going to the last and still win is fantastic. She is better and stronger this year and really enjoys racing. Pat (McCarthy, owner) is a brilliant man and to be honest I don't know what I would have done without him over the last number of years as things were quiet - I couldn't be happier for the mare and for Pat, especially, to win a Graded race. We'll have a think about Galway with her.

I always thought she was well handicapped on the flat but I never got a chance to run her on it last year. She is stronger this year and loves it here - only for her (final fence) fall here she'd have a great record. I'm very lucky to have her and she might run in a Graded chase at Killarney next.

she couldn't have done it any better and likes going left-handed. Normally she is mad keen and full of running but today Brian said she was behind the bridle the whole way. If she can do that the whole time I think it'll be a massive bonus for her as she is probably her own worst enemy (racing keenly). She is stronger this year and hopefully that will make her better and will go to Galway again and she could take in a flat race too.

She didn't jump as well as she normally does but she was coming from a run over fences. She's tough and she galloped to the line. I'm delighted for the owner Pat McCarthy who is a proper gentleman. Mark gave her a brilliant ride and she's a tough gutsy mare. I thought I'd missed my chance in this race last year and it's great to get a second chance. She's first reserve in a flat race here tomorrow and is in on Friday in a 2m2f handicap hurdle. That's my first winner as a trainer here although I did ride a winner here.

She will probably go for the mares handicap hurdle on the Wednesday of Galway, and she might run in a chase before that. She prefers going left-handed.
