She's been very good. Luck just didn't go her way but she's a right good mare and for the boys who own her she's worth a right few pounds now as a broodmare so it's worked out grand,. She's been promising to do that for an age. She loves that ground and that's what Colin said. She's in good order and you couldn't be happier with her. I'll have a chat to the owner now and see what he says but today was important. We were a long time waiting all year. She didn't get the rub of the green there but sure today was great and it's worked out well. I couldn't see her staying in training next year as they'll want to breed from her. I doubt it very much but I'll chat with Maurice and see what he says but I doubt it. To get today out of the way was the really important thing and we'll see were we go. You'd be happy with her after that and there is not too much more we can do with her now.

she has always showed us she was nice and had a lovely run here the first day and built on it. We'll see how she is in the morning and see if we can find something for her in a couple of weeks. I thought this was a better option than Galway (next week) with a three-year-old going up and down hills, and it worked out lovely.
