he is as honest a horse as you'd ever find and while the ground might be a little bit gluey for him, he battled out well and tries very hard. That's his fourth win here and he loves it here; the ground wasn't ideal for him at Gowran and seven furlongs is a bit sharp for him as he is getting older.

He's a brilliant horse, they don't make many like him, he's very very tough. He's seriously genuine and we're delighted to have him,. That's his grade and that's why we ran him back quickly. When he goes up he'll probably find it tough in the next grade. He's done enough for this year anyway and we're delighted with him. He's deserves a bit of a break now.

The ground was a little bit of a worry and not ideal for him but he is genuine and tough. We'll go for something similar next.

I don't know why he hasn't won a couple of races before now but he has been the most unlucky horse. He is genuine as the day is long but has always been in the unlucky part of life!. He needs quicker ground than this be be at his best and we'll see what the handicapper does now. Paul Flynn rang this morning (trainer of non-runner Try Again) to say he wasn't running and I rang Ado McGuinness who said he wasn't running (the second reserve Beau Satchel). We also had the first reserve so this fellow was going up 7lbs so we said we'd run him instead. Sometimes things go your way!
