he could be a nice enough horse and is a chaser more than anything. It's late enough in the season to be winning a maiden and obviously he has to improve a lot to be anything special and we'll see what the handicapper does with him. He wants easy ground and wouldn't run on good; I'm looking at him more as a chaser for next season.

we thought he'd win and he did so that's grand! He did a bit (of work) last spring so we had a good idea he was pretty useful. He'll go jumping straightaway and he has schooled well. Nina said he stayed really well, and his pedigree would suggest that but he is not short of boot either. He was a very hard horse to break and took three months to get up on him - that's not a bad sign though as it shows that they have a bit of fight in them!
