He's an absolute superstar! He was bought for 12 grand and he has won 130/140 thousand. We thought it wasn't a bad race, but he's super fast out even though I think Rory (Cleary on Navalny) took him on there today. Plum draw in one and Wayne said to me 'I'm letting him roll'. In fairness, the handicapper has given us a chance as he has dropped him a couple of pounds. That obviously helped us - running well without getting there and this time we got there. There's a race in Navan coming up soon over five. He has never run well over six, but I would be half tempted to give him a run in the Bold Lad (at the Curragh). He's never got it before, but it is a big pot and he likes those!

I can't believe it, three in a row! It's hard enough to get a horse to win one but now he's after winning three. He's just transformed and he's a legend. Maybe it's just that he's a year older and he's taking his racing a bit better. He blew a fuse one day with Seamie in the stalls at Navan so we try to get him in as late as we can. Whether that has transformed or maybe he's just taking his racing better. We're doing nothing different to last year. He's winning races now easily. We might give him another run in the Curragh, Scott said there is a big pot in him. Our horses are running well, Secret Magician was third in a big handicap at the Curragh last Saturday. When you are on fire, you're on fire.

He has won on soft and we have been running him on fast ground and it is all about the ground with him. I knew coming here we'd be some way safe. At this level you have to tick all the boxes and the ground is the key to him. The draw didn't help us but he is tough and genuine. We needed that as we were hitting the cross-bar and I needed to stick one in the back of the net.

I thought his run here on his last visit was a serious run. Ronan was a small bit disappointed with him last time (at Tipperary) and said the ground was just too fast for him. He was bought in lockdown by two electricians and a publican, he was to go for the breeze-ups, so a red carpet should be out for them when things open! They were coming today and had it all signed up before things changed. The first day he ran with the choke out but the second day I thought it was a brilliant run (finished eighth of twelve behind Tar Heel). It was nearer six then and he just didn't get home. Ronan said he will get six. We'll see what the handicapper does now.
