After race at Kilbeggan Tue, 5th Jun, 2018 (1st)  That was great. They are local owners so it's always good to win here,. Fair play to the track for re-staging it so quickly. One of the owners is on the committee and he texted me on Sunday morning when I was just about to leave to say racing was called off. I was gutted and nearly got sick because I fancied this lad strongly. I thought he'd win today but it was a competitive handicap and you still have to go and do it. He carried 11-8. I nearly fell off him at the last but other than that he was straight-forward enough. It's just mighty for the yard because every horse is running well even in defeat. They are all hitting the crossbar, going over or going under. It keeps the staff happy, the owners happy and makes my job easy. Denis Gerard Hogan

After race at Kilbeggan Mon, 20th Jun, 2016 (1st)  He was schooling brilliantly but turned over here at the first, first time out. It was a good run in Sligo although he was a little free. He settled nicely for Katie today and had a lovely position. He won well at the end. We'll possibly look for a winners bumper and a maiden hurdle will be on the agenda before long. A couple of local lads own him (the DPOJ Partnership). They are from the Tullamore area and they're also involved with the stallion Urban Poet (stands in Gurteen Stud, Tullamore). He was sick for a while and wouldn't eat for a month. He had so many antibiotics that he had no good bacteria left in his stomach and the Equine centre were a great help. Andrew McNamara
