that was a lovely introduction and a lot of the credit must go to Tony Martin (previous trainer) who said to get his wind done and it has turned him inside out. He was very natural and seemed to put in a nice clear round of jumping and won well. We'll see how he is in the next ten days and see what Barry (Connell, owner) wants to do.

You'd have to be pleased with that and the way he settled and jumped. He'll definitely improve for that run and we'll see in a fortnight's time where to go next. You'd be encouraged by the way he jumped and down the road he could step up in trip.

He was making a genuine £180,000 at the Brightwell sales but we weren't selling him for any less than his reserve of £200,000. He's an absolute machine. We have a tough gallop at home and any of my other horses can't get anywhere near him on the two furlongs straight. There have been more offers for him since the sales but he's not so cheap now. He's a horse that's in a different league. We'll go to Naas or Fairyhouse for a winners' bumper and then straight to Cheltenham.
