She was in foal but lost the foal, so I said we'd get her back as I felt there was a bit more in her as she finished up not in the best of form. She's filled out a bit more with time, hopefully the handicapper won't go nuts and we might pick up another one along the way. I said to Seamie if his teeth were rattling in his head the ground is just about right for her!. If it's any softer than that she just doesn't cope with it. Hopefully we have a bit of a handle on her now and she can pick up some more races. She was ready to run a month ago, but the ground was not there. She had been working well, so we were confident she wouldn't embarrass us. She lost her foal over six months ago and as you can see she's a light-framed filly, so there weren't layers of fat to be shifted off her. She'd been to the Old Vic a few times and we were happy coming to this level today. If the ground holds right, depending on what the handicapper does, I think there is a fillies' nine-furlong handicap for her in Leopardstown on Thursday week.

that's my first winner and I've only had a few runners over a period of time. It's a nice day and a nice place to get a winner. I'm a farrier by trade and just have another two-year-old in training, who will start in another two or three weeks. Hopefully I'll maybe get a few more. She's been there or thereabouts. The biggest concern with her is getting her settled. She seems to run her race a bit too early on in the game. She handled the step up to ten well. She had a little bit of form last year but it was patchy. This year she's gotten bigger and stronger. Hopefully she can pick up a few more races along the way. We'll see what mark she gets and make a plan after this. Today was the objective last year but we had to wait a while. Thank God we are here today anyway.
