After race at
Dundalk Wed, 11th Dec, 2013 (1st)
we nearly won the Laurels (greyhound race run at Curraheen Park in Cork) years ago and I threw my hat in the air thinking we'd won so I said I'd never do that again!. Seamie (Heffernan) said after he ran the last night to leave the blinkers off him and he has been a huge help to us and has advised us all along. It's a huge thrill winning with First Friday as we bred him and have had him since a foal.

That win is absolutely priceless. George and myself have been friends for years. I was best man at his wedding and he was best man at mine. Fiona gave him a great ride and he went right away. I couldn't believe it when he went right away in the straight.

That meant a lot as he was born and reared at home and he's like a child to us,. Seamie says we should go to Galway so we'll do what we are told!
