Jack said his best was from the last to the line. He didn't get pulled up until down below and its job done. We probably would have preferred a bit more competition. They didn't go quick, and he was looking around him. He said it was actually slippy and he slipped a bit and then was a bit careful. I'd imagine, with horses not getting out, he'll head straight on to the Drinmore now. In fairness he was better on that ground - Wexford was horrible ground.

In fairness to Jack he picked this lad, he had the choice of all three and I wasn’t sure he was on the right one.

He's a proper horse, he was showing us all the right signs at home and we are delighted. I've been friends with Michael (Earls, owner) for the last 10 or 15 years since I started training. After three years waiting, I told him this is the horse for him! If he’d had a run we could have run him at Cheltenham. We'll mind him, he's a horse for next year. He could go to Punchestown, but we will do the right thing for the horse. We might keep him for the winners' bumper in Galway, Michael is a Galway man.
