It was great. She's been unlucky on her last couple of runs but things worked out well today,. Seamie gave her a great ride and it's fantastic for everyone concerned. She's not a bad little filly. She comes home well and she probably wants a stiff five or an easy six. She's a bit finnicky in the stalls, somedays it works and somedays it doesn't. It's great for the owner who is a great supporter of mine.

We were very unlucky in the last race with Reverberation. He’s a type of horse that you have to ride for luck and he nearly got there,. I told Sam to ride her cold, she’ll come home well and he gave her a great ride. She won over five (furlongs) in Down Royal but they went very hard that day and it looks like the race fell apart. They went hard today and it looks like it may have fell apart as well, but she was there to pick up the pieces. We’ll keep going with her until she tells me that she has had enough. A small trainer like me from the north could have had a double at the Curragh but I’m happy with one. The horses are running well and long may it continue. The owner (Richie Behan) is a local man and he supports me very well.

It is fantastic for the owner, Richard (Behan) is a great supporter. He puts a lot of money into the game. She has been very frustrating and maybe she has just come right. She has been disappointing on the whole but it is great to win for Richard. It is great to get it at my local track. We'll take small steps again with her and hopefully we can get her in again. She was fourth in Naas and second in Navan, she has been a little frustrating because she did win a couple in England. I just said to Declan that the conformation of the track might not suit but she will come home well as she runs well at Navan and Naas. We had a good draw and the draw didn't work out. Declan was cool and he played his cards late and he put her head in front where it counts on the post. He's one of the top-class pilots and he didn't panic.
