He would like better ground. He's been frustrating and even there it's frustrating that he didn't pick up better. If he gets a bit of confidence he could go on. We'll keep him on the go.

Fran said he idled in front but that it was snug enough. He got some sort of a rash over Christmas, he was nearly sold, but then they changed their minds. I don't know where he'll go next because I don't want to run him over hurdles until the start of next season.

I'm a little bit surprised as I didn't think he was that wound up - he hasn't really done much,. He was bought to go hurdling but the owner didn't materialise and he was also held up a bit. I thought I would leave him to next season - give him a run or two on the Flat and put him away. We won't kill him on the Flat but he'll get a run or two. Tim claiming 10lb is a big bonus for a fella that can ride like him.
