She got there easily and seemed to enjoy the ground. I'm pretty sure she is in foal to Stowaway.

She's entered in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham. I just put her in in case she didn't win today for whatever reason. Quevega is a nice reserve to have!. We'll try to find a mares' chase for her at Fairyhouse. She's the same type of mare as Candy Girl as she doesn't see out two and three quarter miles over fences. We'll stick to a similar trip.

That was a tremendous ride by Ruby. We decided to change the tactics with her as it was breaking her heart making the running last season. She was rated 132 coming into this and that would put her into Graded class. She loves that ground and has got a lot stronger this season. We will probably aim for something around Christmas with her now.

That was a good contest and she is improving all the time. There is a big mares race in Limerick on the Sunday before Cheltenham (the Listed Kerry Group E.B.F. Mares Novice Hurdle on March 13th) and she'll probably go there. We'll keep her at home as her style of racing (front-running) mightn't suit going over there (Cheltenham).

We decided to go back to making the running with her and she seemed much happier out in front today,. She'll go down the novice hurdle route. She may get an entry for Cheltenham but we might try and find easier options for her.

She has obviously come on a lot from her last run. She looks above average and it's good to know she goes on Winter ground. She'll take a little break now and we'll go jumping with her next. That's my first horse for the owner Jim Ennis and it's great she won.

We were going to hold her up but Patrick decided down at the start to make it on her as he felt there wasn't a lot of pace. We will probably go for a winner's bumper next. She hasa good flat pedigree.
