he's a nice little horse to have in the yard. He was carrying top-weight today so he performed well. He was stepping up to seven furlongs and just kept galloping towards the line. He was fit and well coming here and loves it up here. Huge credit to the owners (Dr J Syndicate) as well, they bred him and they are local to the yard. We have him nominated for Dubai so we'll see what happens.

Billy gave him a great ride and the horse was in good form. He was fresh and well at home,. We're delighted to have him in the yard and he looks like a nice prospect to step up to premier handicap level. Something like the Scurry would be the aim this year or the Bold Lad. We were praying that it didn't rain and luckily it stayed away. It was a nice performance. The horses are running well and looking well.

he’s dropped down to a very competitive mark. He was fit and well and in the time we had to wait for another race, he’s put a bit of condition on and was looking well. Six (furlongs) is his trip. We’ll talk to the owners (Dr J Syndicate) and see if we go again here or put him away and start again for the turf season. We’ll have a lot to look forward with him in the turf season next year.

He's very, very game. He's been in good form since his last run at the Curragh as well,. We thought he was drawn on the wrong side of the track at the Curragh. Shane said he did that well and we are all very pleased with him. We'll see what the handicapper does now and see how he comes out of the race.

He's been in good form since he won at Fairyhouse. The last time he ran at Dundalk (over 7f) he wasn't beaten far and we thought dropping back to six furlongs would suit him. He travelled into the race lovely, Gavin got him settled well and he always does his best work at the end. He's very genuine and tough and hopefully he'll progress and we can get him competing at premier handicap level by the end of the year. At the moment I think his trip is six furlongs. Once he learns to settle a bit better we can think about stepping up. I don't think he'll have any problem staying seven, it's just a matter of getting him to settle and a faster pace suits better at this stage.
