There is a bit of interest from Australia in him and there are negotiations going on that he might go for the Melbourne Cup. The lads want to hold onto half of him but we’ll know more in the next few days. If he was in the first three today that deal was on the table. It’s a kind of a fairytale really. He just keeps improving and improving. He had issues when we got him first with allergies and this year has just been amazing. You are always afraid that you are one run away from going over the top.

He's a good horse, it's great to get a good one. The ground was obviously a bit of a worry today. I thought a furlong out we were in trouble, he didn't get a run until very late. They are all great rides when they work out!. Last night it was just lovely ground, it was supposed to rain and it didn't. We were worried but he seems to go on any ground and if you are going to run him anywhere you'd run him here. He has to be a black-type horse now. The boys want to go to Ascot, it will be either one of the big handicaps or the mile-and-two Listed race. He'll be entered in two or three of them. I don't know what these boys are going to do when he gets beat!. He's improved all year, he was wrong early last year and it took him a few runs to get him right. This year it's been a clear run the whole way with him. We train him out of a woodchip paddock where he has a shelter in it, he isn't in a stable at all. It seems to work.

It's great to get it. It was his first run and we didn't know about the ground for him with ten stone. We had him ready early this year for the Lincoln but he got a setback before it. He probably would have needed the run in the Lincoln anyway so it maybe worked out better. We're hoping he's a black-type horse, that's the road you'd have to go I think. There are a couple of big handicaps on Guineas weekend and one in Cork, but that's over seven and it might be a bit sharp for him. He won over a mile-and-two here on Champions Weekend.

in the Cambridgeshire it looked like he came to win but it just didn’t work out. I thought it was a more competitive race today. I think Colin rode him a bit further back but it worked out anyway. He’s a good horse and has really come to hand. I’m not sure whether he will have another race or a break. We’ll hardly be going hurdling for a while! We were thinking of schooling him over the winter but we’ll see how it goes. we previously won the Cambridgeshire and the Ahonoora (Handicap), with Laughifuwant, but prizemoney-wise that is our biggest win.

He's a horse that's had a lot of niggles. He ran a nice race here the last day and was finishing very well. We bought him and he had a lot of problems, he's still only recovering from the time Mr Weld's horses had some sort of a virus or something. He has loads of ability but we found it hard trying to get him right. We thought he was coming on his last couple of runs and he was fit today. Today was going to be his day unless something went really wrong. He's a lovely big horse. He won his maiden over a mile-and-one at Ballinrobe and he was high enough then. He's come down 6lb since we got him, I don't think it made a difference to him anyway. He has an entry in the Cambridgeshire and if he gets in he'll probably run. He's turned a corner and the horses at home are running well this season for some reason. We only have a handle but they are all running well. We're not doing anything different. You just can't do it without the horses.
