I was annoyed he got put up four pounds for his run in the Troytown but if he hadn't been put up he wouldn't have got in today. The better ground was a big help to him. He jumped from fence to fence and he was quite incredible. The owner John Corr was here yesterday but he has a bit of a cold and couldn't make it here today. We'll probably give him six weeks of rest and the Irish National is something we will have to think about.

He's an odd sort of a horse as he's loads of ability but he just does what he has to and you'll probably never see him win by further. He's very big for a three year old so he should improve. We will run him at Leopardstown over the Christmas and then go back there for the Grade 1 at the end of January. He's a contender for the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham as he's a nice horse that stays well.

We let him off after his last run with a view to going hurdling and he has grown since he was out,. He would be better around Navan or Leopardstown, this track woulldn't really suit. It was more greeness than anything that he dropped back though. He stays well and jumps will and will go on soft ground. I'll try and not overrun him. He's won now so we can stay quiet for a while.
