He went up 2lb over the weekend (after Stormfly won) so we decided to run before he had to carry it. Soft ground isn't a requirement for him. I'm sure they'd all prefer it better than that as it's gluey today. He's been very consistent and could go up to a mile or run over six on soft.

I wanted to get him settled as he tugged a little in Cork, so I got a lead off the two boys. He travels quite well but doesn't do a whole lot in front. He deserves a break now and might be a nice three-year-old. He goes on that and on soft ground so will have plenty of options next spring..
