I thought he had a sporting chance, being bred the way he is and he has good big feet. He is an improving horse, is fit as a fiddle and we took a chance he'd go through the ground and he did. There aren't too many than can win around Dundalk and do that as well and he is a lovely tough and genuine horse. That'll be it now for the year and we'll put him away. he is plenty big enough for hurdles and while he has been creeping up the handicap, he has different options. The main thing is he has had a wonderful year and I'm delighted for the owners who also bred him. It is a great thrill for them. He is named after Chally Chute who trained horses on the Curragh and Julie's dad rode for him.

He's getting better with racing. He had a setback as a three-year-old and we just had to wait for him, he's improving all the time. He handled Dundalk well when he won up there but I wasn't too worried about this ground with him being by Fast Company. It was a nice race and a nice track for him. Jamie was very cool on him, the plan wasn't to be that far back on him but he rode him for luck and it happened. I'm delighted for Jamie to ride a winner for us, his Dad (Anthony) was a great friend of mine and his grand-mother actually taught me to ride. I spent a lot of time out in Powells' as a kid.

Julie (White, owner) works for the Aga Khan Studs and her husband, Dommo, works for Juddmonte, so they are at the heart and soul of this game. They bred this horse and he was reared on a foster (mare). He had a setback as a three-year-old and we had to wait until four. They have been very, very patient with him. The name meant a lot to them because back in the day Julie's dad rode a lot for Chally Chute and rode winners for him. He is a Fast Company and handles that surface really well. He has got a big heart and every time you go for him, he keeps finding. Ronan gave Andy's horse (Oliver, Manbehindthemoney) a great ride as well. Ronan is a world-class rider, Ronan just has to believe it. We saw it tonight. I'd put him on a par with any of them. We just didn't have the firepower for him the last couple of years. He's a very unassuming lad, but very talented.
