We would have settled for a dead-heat. It's great for Simon (Mulvany, of the winning owners the Catshipper Partnership) who is on the race committee here and sponsors the Fast Shipping Hurdle. It's a local winner for both me and Simon and Gerry Clarke as well. She's very consistent. She was unlucky at Ayr where she was just chinned and is very very game. She does her job every year and I'd love to have a few more like her. I thought the handicapper had been hard enough on her, giving her 9lb for Down Royal and 4lb for Ayr. I thought he had a hold of her. She's never won off anything as high. She'll get a run on the beach now (Laytown). We have nothing to lose and she handles Dundalk as well so could be campaigned there.

she has been knocking on the door all year but hasn't had luck. We've been hitting the crossbar with the horses so it is good to get a winner - they’ve all been in good form and I'm glad she got the job done today. There's not really that many races for her; she has only three or four races every year but she runs well in them. We bred her and she has been with us all the years and has a mind of her own.

It's great for the owners Simon Mulvany and Gerry Clarke. They've been good patrons of mine and Simon sponsors a race here on Saturday,. I'm local to here so it's great. I wouldn't even be 10 miles away. We've hit the crossbar here a few times so it's great to get my first winner at the track. She's in at Ayr on Monday and might go there. She's also in at Naas next Wednesday.

She's very game and always runs her race. I don't think she's ever been out of the first three here.

Gary has signed up with us as an apprentice and that's his first winner since signing on. He gave her a great ride and is great value for his 7lb. She gets called a lot of names, and every time she runs I get texts like WillCatDo and CanCatDo. But it was CatDidDo today! She's been very consistent. She may be a bit limited but is genuine. We waited for this race and gave her three weeks rest to freshen up. I always thought the drop back to five furlongs would suit her.
