Paul (Townend) seemed to get first run turning for home after looking to be off the bridle. She settled well today, which was a pleasant surprise, and if she settles like that in future we could probably go up in trip with her as well but she has plenty of speed. She was a little green in front but is learning and she'll improve, I think. I was happy to see her winning on that type of ground, it was soft both times she won last year. She looked like a good ground filly and maybe she's only coming to herself now. I wouldn't be stopping with her if she's able to handle better ground during the summer. We'll aim for Fairyhouse or Punchestown and if I can find a nice hurdle in the meantime we'll do that too.

to be honest I was disappointed with her at Listowel (won there on debut by four and a half lengths), that's what I thought she'd do at Listowel. We probably didn't go fast enough then as she gallops and gallops. She wears a hood because she used to be a bit giddy but is much better now. We think she could be good and she handles soft ground. I imagine she could be one for the Graded bumper at Navan if it doesn't come too soon and I'd be hoping she'd stay to bumpers this year. It is hard to change this late in the season to hurdles and there is a great programme for her in bumpers - I think she has the class to go for races like the Aintree Bumper. She has plenty of size and scope and will jump a fence in time if they want.

She is a nice filly and has been showing me a lot at home but I was a little worried about the ground today - I thought she might want better but Patrick said she handled it alright. She is a nice, strong mare with plenty of size and she's a mare that will win races. She wore a hood as she is a little giddy and I was afraid coming down here with the big crowd on ladies' day!
