He deserved it and was a shade unlucky the last day where he missed the last a bit and the track was too tight for him. He's a big horse and he had to do it the hard way. He'll be better for a step up in trip, is only five and still a big baby. I'd imagine he'll spend another year hurdling before going chasing. He'll probably go for a handicap before being left off for the summer.

He is a nice horse and we have always liked him at home. He is very laid back. He was very green in his point-to-point and he had a nice run in his bumper at Fairyhouse but you'd always be more hopeful that confident taking on one of Willie Mullins'.
