She wasn't really travelling early on and two miles three is short enough for her nowadays. She jumped great though which was a big help. She was good today compared to the Galway Hurdle (tailed off there when fancied by many) and when she got to the front she stuck her head down and battled all the way to the line. She got a great leap two out and I was always holding on . I was very happy with her. The Galway Hurdle was a complete write-off, nobody knows what happened there.

she is holding her form and that was nice to win, given the ground. We had the choice of coming here or going to the Boylesports Hurdle but rather than take on a handicap with 20 runners, we decided to take out chance today eventhough the ground might not be as suitable. I was very pleased with that but not sure where we'll go as she's done more than enough . she's an iron mare and has been on the go since Galway and been doing it in all sorts of ground. She'll get an entry for the Ryanair Chase but I'm not sure if she's good enough.

it's nice for Paul to get back on a winning note. We'll try and do the same with Blazing Tempo and try and find another nice race for her - she'll mix it over hurdles and fences. She just took her eye off the third last but she jumped well for a mare coming back from fences.

I thought coming down the hill that the last race had taken it out of her,. But she got back into contention and obviously everyone saw what happened after. There isn't a lot of races to run her in at the moment and that's why she ran again so quickly. Last Saturday was the plan but she got compensation today.

Her last run at Punchestown was good, and it was great to get in here off a real racing weight. Paul gave me a fright when he was on his back schooling this morning but thankfully both himself and that horse were fine. My three runners today could all go for the Kerry National, and this mare may possibly be a Hennessy horse. She stays better now than she used to.

she jumped better today over the bigger fences and seemed to have more respect for them. I was very happy with the way she came back to two miles, from two and a half, and while I'll try to keep her to mares' races, she'll be entered in the better novice races too.

I'm a bit surprised she won as all of mine are running like they need the run. Paul said she was not happy on the ground and would prefer it a lot better. I have no real plan as we were not expecting to win but she will keep to mares company.

We have no plans but she'll stick to novice company for the rest of the year,. The ground is not too bad but she loves better ground. Keith is a good claimer and well able to ride.

We tried to sell her 3 times but couldn't. We always thought a lot of her and we'll go novice hurdling with her next year. We'll only sell her if we get a fairly good offer.
