He did a tendon when he won here the last time and I didn't think I could have him ready enough after 505 days off. He was always a great jumper and Bryan said had he jumped the last better he would have won handy enough. I have him in the Irish Grand National but we'll see how he comes out of this first. Hopefully he'll be ok in the morning and he likes good ground.

He likes good ground but its fairly quick out there. He did it well, and hopefully we can keep him going with the ground in his favour. There could be a novice chase for him at Punchestown next month.

This is my racecourse - I love this one,. This is the first day we've had him right and he runs well fresh. He's really a chaser and I count this as a bonus. We wanted a fast pace and they probably went a bit fast but Alain Cawley did exactly as he was told and got a breather into him. He probably wants a bit further. He might have one more try over hurdles, there is a race in Wexford for him where I am chairman of the race supporters committee. He's a half brother to Blazing Sky, who was one of the best I've ever had.
