Fran said things were happening a bit quick for her early on and she was off it (bridle). Once Fran got into position he got stopped a couple of times. Once she got out he gave her two slaps and the race was over. She quickened up and did everything right. She probably wants a mile and a quarter. She's in a whole lot of races and we'll see where we go next. That's only her third run of the year so we could have a nice autumn campaign with her. She'll go with a bit of cut in the ground. The Blandford Stakes looks like the next step.

She surprised me the way she quickened up and left them for dead. On paper it looked a competitive Listed race but, when Shane gave her a squeeze two furlongs out, she just took off. She's entered up in the Dance Design Stakes and the Blandford Stakes at the Curragh, and also the Group 1 Champion Fillies And Mares Stakes at Ascot.

I was very worried about the groud and nearly took her out this morning,. She didn't really like it and down the back he was niggling her a bit. She might run again later in the season over a mile. We'll see what the ground is like. It's great to see them in good form still.
