I'm delighted. He had a very good run at Gowran but when he came home he was lame. He missed two weeks work. Andrew (Ring) gave him a lovely ride at Leopardstown last time. He gave a blow two out and improved nicely from it. We'll mix it between hurdles and fences with him now. He's been a difficult horse as he's had plenty of injuries.

We're thrilled with that win, we'll stay handicapping with him for the moment. The lads had a few bob each way on him so everyone is happy.

I had him sold before the race to some of the syndicate involved in Rosoff but he won tonight for us. He ran at Sligo first time and came back here because the ground is always safe. He is a big baby but I like him and I won that same bumper before with Fairwood Present (a seven time winner). He was ninety per cent ready there and as I don't like to burst horses in bumpers he'll go over hurdles now. (EM)
