The secret is getting him to relax and Mark did that well. He has to have good ground so hopefully we'll have a good summer with him. He's probably going to go over fences as early as next month. He runs best fresh and the Flat tends to light him up a bit, so we'll keep him to jumps for the time being.

I thought a lot of this horse from an early stage but he's just a little bit quirky and can be quite keen. When the penny does drop he could be a nice horse. The ground was right for him today, and he'll stick to hurdles for the time being,.

I'm happy to get that. He wasn't settling in his races over hurdles and even the night he won his bumper here he didn't settle,. I think over the 1m2f the faster pace suited him. He's still a bit of a baby and immature in his ways. We'll put him away now and bring him back next year for a summer dual purpose campaign. We'll keep him a novice over hurdles. He needs genuinely good ground and we have no chance of getting it. I think this country is sinking!. He loves this surface here and could be paying a few visits next year.

the slow gallop wouldn't have suited Baracas at all but he is a very nice horse and we like him a lot. I've no plans from here.
