He's a fair horse having broken down three times, and he had two wind operations. Only for his owner, Billy Horgan, he would hardly be here as he's had so much patience. We just gave him time. He did it really well today. I always thought he was a good horse, and it's the first time that we have got a run like this with him without injuries. We may think about the Galway Plate but he wouldn't run on fast ground over the summer. There are plenty of nice handicaps to go for next season, and to be honest I might be tempted to put him away.

I quietly fancied him today. He's broken down three times and had a full wind operation twice but his owner has been very patient. He was off a handy weight, and is only coming to himself. He's a ten-year-old but has never had a run of more than four or five races together. I think he'll even improve from that. I hope he'll get into the big novice handicap now at Punchestown.

He won a point-to-point two years ago but he had leg trouble and two wind operations after that. I thought I would never get him back and his last operation was his last chance. I thought he was very good one time but he disappointed in his last two runs. I thought he would win a novice hurdle no problem. My horses weren't right when he was running poor but he is only coming to himself now. He is crying out for fences but if it stays wet we might run him in a two and a half mile or three mile novice hurdle. We will more than likely put him away now as he is three mile chaser in the making.
