We were disappointed not to get into the Galway Hurdle (second reserve) so it was great to win today and he has only been out of the frame twice in fourteen runs. He has been a lucky horse for us. Denis was at his best there. They went a bit steady early on but a good run two miles is his job. He'll go up a bit for that again and there's always the chasing route and also the flat route. There's a two-mile flat handicap for him in York but is 18 days away so might come too soon. He'll mix it and has his job done.

He has a bit of Flat speed and is rated 89 on the Flat. He’ll probably get a good hike for that and it might get him into a Galway Hurdle. We’ll mix it and will enter him in the two and a half miles Ascot Stakes. It is two weeks away but he didn’t take too much out of himself today. He’s a fun horse and my wife (Miriam) owns him which is even better!. He was a bit unlucky here the last time at the Festival where he missed the break and was a long way back.

He got bogged down a bit at Listowel and he goes hurdling now,. He could be a type for some of the big handicaps in the spring and 2m4f will be his trip for now.

Leopardstown Mon, 2nd Mar, 2020 (1st)
he'll have a little break now as he's been busy. He'll go for the final at Punchestown and he'll go jumping fences after that, next season. It's a pity his half-sister, Maries Rock (unbeaten in three runs for Nicky Henderson), went wrong.

Thurles Sun, 19th Jan, 2020 (1st)
There is a winners' auction race coming up somewhere and that's where he'll go. These auction races are a good idea for those type of horses,. We bumped into one trying to give it ten pounds, at Tramore. We'll get through the next race before deciding on running in the Final at Punchestown.
