Conditions suited him great today. Very heavy ground and a good test of stamina. He jumped very well today,. He's in the English and Irish Nationals. There are a lot of connections and they are probably more leaning towards Aintree. I'd imagine at the moment that's winning the vote in the Carlow camp. The weather will play a big part. We'll have to see what the long range forecast is like.

That was very good, He jumped as straight as a die today and he's improving all the time,. The ground is a big key to him. He just goes on really heavy testing ground. His jumping was superb today and he showed today how good he is. He's in the RSA and you'd have to say after today we would be travelling but we'll see what the ground is. If it came up very good, which you never know at Cheltenham, he might give it a miss. At the moment if it was nice soft ground we'd have to take our chance. He's got loads of options. We'll sit down, get over today and have a think about where we're going to go.

He was very good today and probably just idled a bit in front. We took the hood off him as we felt he doesn’t need it any more. He’s a bit older and a bit wiser, and the fire is back in the belly which is great. His jumping was very good, and more testing ground and going a bit further will suit him. I’m not sure where he will go next but he is very ground dependant. Unless Cheltenham came up soft we would be giving it a miss. He might go for the 2m5f Scalp Novice in Leopardstown next month, and we’ll hope it keeps pouring rain between now and then. There is also a three-mile race back here. He needs three to four weeks between races so we will do what is best for him but he will step up to Graded company next time.

He's very, very good. The further he goes the better. He was very tough today, he really battled. He doesn't mind that ground. He (Johnny Burke) did exactly what we asked him to do - make all the use of his big stride and kick on when he needed to and that's what he did.

That was a very good performance having made a novicey mistake at the last, it was the fastest he had ever raced down to a hurdle,” . Ruby was impressed with him and he is a real big striding horse. This track wouldn't really suit him but this was a good opportunity and we now have options with him. He's in at Cheltenham but we could bypass it and go to either Fairyhouse or Aintree and he'll also be better on better ground. It's fabulous to win the race again and we're keeping it in the family! It's lovely and emotional too.
