Permission was given for Toy Soldier (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and wear a red hood to post.
Andrew Balding was fined £140 for doubly declaring Humam (IRE) to run in the THE BEST ODDS GUARANTEED AT BETMGM HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 3) and the “THE GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY AT BETMGM HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) both at Southwell and the colt ran in the latter.
The winner, Well Enough (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield Park on 18th January 2025 where the colt finished sixth of six runners, beaten by 33 ½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Hilal Kobeissi could offer no explanation for the colt’s improved form.
Well Enough (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Toy Soldier (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and hung right-handed.
