Permission was given for Amazonian Dream (IRE) to be mounted on the course and to go to post early wearing a red hood and for Sevensees (GB) to be mounted on the course.
An enquiry was held to consider interference half a mile out involving the winner, Rebel Empire (FR), ridden by Joe Leavy; Batal Dubai (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Sean Levey and Brooklyn Nine Nine (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Billy Garritty.
Leavy was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear, resulting in Levey having to take a check and Garritty to become tight for room.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Blind Beggar (IRE), placed third, shifted marginally right-handed at the same time as the winner, Rebel Empire (FR), shifted marginally left-handed which caused Sevensees (GB), placed fourth, to be short of room but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Blind Beggar (IRE) nor Rebel Empire (FR).
