An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Coole Well (IRE) which had refused to line up and was withdrawn at 2:16pm.
Jake Coulson was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also been withdrawn at Newcastle on 9 December 2021 for refusing to line up, Coulson was informed that any future similar behaviour from Coole Well (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Weebill (GB), placed second, sustained a small overreach wound to its left-fore.
