We’ll take it! We’ll never know what would have happened, but he jumped well. He won this race last year and a small field is probably ideal for him and he loves that ground. Hopefully, that will be a confidence booster for him.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the third last involving Corbetts Cross, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, and Run Wild Fred, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, where it appeared the horses collided on landing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
