Kaprun (12/1 in the morning and 8s into 7s on track) showed his liking for soft ground here
to leave behind memories of his eclipse just three days previously. His handler Brian Nolan
said, "I have to thank Kevin Manning for minding him for me on Sunday. He came back in and
said that he hated the good ground and he told me to run him again whenever we got soft
ground. We will step him up in trip now and in time he will make a nice hurdler."
