Mr Connor Mains, the rider of Dreadnoughtus (GB), had fallen approximately 1½ furlongs out.
Miss Brodie Hampson, the rider of Seaborough (IRE), placed eighth, and Miss Charlotte Mulhall, the rider of the winner, Bigbadboy (IRE), were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but Mr Mains was unable to be interviewed owing to his injuries.
Being a 7lb claimer, Miss Mulhall was accompanied in the enquiry by a trainer.
Miss Mulhall was suspended for 9 days, on dates to be notified to her by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, for careless riding as she failed to take sufficient steps to prevent her horse from drifting left causing Dreadnoughtus (GB) to clip heels and fall, which in turn hampered Seaborough (IRE) and Abushamah (IRE).
Following the race, Miss Brodie Hampson, the rider of Seaborough (IRE), placed eighth, and Miss Emily Bullock, the rider of Abushamah (IRE), unplaced, both reported that their mounts were hampered by the faller.
