The winner, Hard To Forget (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Hereford on 4 November 2019 where the gelding finished eighth of eleven runners, beaten by 48 lengths on going officially described as Good.
The representative of Henry Oliver’s explanation that the gelding appreciated the Soft, Heavy in places going and also jumped more fluently on this occasion was noted.
