The winner Picknick Park (GB) appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Huntingdon on 6 February 2020 where the gelding was pulled up.
It was noted that the representative of Nick Kent could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Picknick Park (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Tabitha Worsley reported that Some Finish (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Hard Knocks (IRE), which was pulled up, bled from the nose.
