He ran well in Cheltenham the last time. We didn’t have a great time travelling and went to the boat twice and we weren’t allowed on it. It upset him and he didn’t eat when he was over there. He ran a great race considering everything. He’s still a novice so he could even tip over to England or could come back here for the big handicap hurdle. He’ll probably get enough weight after that!. He’s starting to jump well but didn’t jump well when he started off.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr D.T. Kelly , rider of Mystique Heights (GB) , presented to weigh out 3 lbs overweight
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. D.T. Kelly was in breach of Rule 198 (vii) (a), in that he had weighed out over 2 lbs heavy which had not been declared. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards fined Mr. D.T. Kelly ?150
The Stewards interviewed Mr. J.R. Banahan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, in relation to the false start in this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. J.R. Banahan, who stated that the riders approached him quicker than he had instructed, there were difficult horses in the field and in addition he heard one rider shouting NO! NO! N0!. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sir Benford Wales (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.
An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs yrs old and upwards that have not won a hurdle race before 30th April, 2018 (123 = 11st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original hadicap; shall not be less than 11st 10lb
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won. Alternative Handicap
