Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Traditional Dancer (IRE) had refused to race after that start had been effected, and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
The performance of Le Musee (FR) which was pulled up was considered.
Nigel Hawke could offer no explanation for the performance other than that the gelding was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Harry Reed reported that Indian Temple (IRE), placed fourth, ran too free.
Blair Campbell reported that Elmono (IRE), which was pulled up, ran too free.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Forth Bridge (GB), placed fifth, lost its right fore shoe.
