Rousay (IRE) had to be reshod having spread a plate on the way to post, causing a delay to the start of this race.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final ½ furlong involving the winner, Royal Fleet (GB), ridden by William Buick, Cadillac (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Rousay, placed second, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Royal Fleet (GB) as Rousay (IRE) lost little momentum as Doyle had to briefly steady her mount, which as a result was deemed to be less than the official distance of 1 length between the runners at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Doyle committed for a gap at the same time as Royal Fleet (GB), drifted marginally left-handed, while simultaneously Cadillac drifted marginally right-handed, causing Doyle to be momentarily short of room and having to take a slight check.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Rousay (IRE), placed second, was denied a clear run in the final ½ furlong.
