The Stewards requested a report from Miss Elizabeth Doyle, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Broadway Twist, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Barry Murphy stated that the horse has not being finishing out her races and that today's application of a tongue tie had contributed to the improved form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
