The winner, French Paradoxe (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 27 November 2020 where the gelding finished sixth of eleven, beaten by 20 ½ lengths.
Oliver Signy’s explanation that the gelding was suited by the Soft, Good to Soft in places going on this occasion as well as being ridden more patiently was noted.
French Paradoxe (FR) was routine tested.
