Key To Power (GB) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start.
Pat Dobbs was unseated on the way to post.
Having been checked by the Doctor at the start, he was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 4 furlongs out involving Swiss Pride (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Shane Kelly, Enchanted Linda (GB), placed third, ridden by Pat Dobbs, Key To Power (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Franny Norton, Mykindofsunshine (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Hector Crouch and Abanica (GB), placed eighth, ridden Robert Havlin.
The interference was found to be accidental as Crouch shifted marginally right onto the free running Abanica (GB), who in turn was shifted right on to the free running Swiss Pride (IRE), causing Norton to suffer interference from both Kelly and Dobbs, who had shifted marginally left.
Following the race, Shane Kelly reported that Swiss Pride (IRE), placed seventh, suffered interference and Charlie Bennett reported that Knockabout Queen (GB), placed sixth, was slowly away.
Franny Norton reported that Key To Power (GB), placed fourth, lost its action on the run to the line and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
