An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the third last hurdle involving Bridge Road (IRE), placed second, ridden by Sean Quinlan, and Dellboy Trotter (IRE), placed third, ridden by Kevin Brogan.
Brogan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that he misjudged the size of the gap when angling around the heels of Release The Kraken (IRE) making contact with and forcing Bridge Road (IRE) off its intended line for several strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the home turn approaching the third last hurdle involving Bridge Road (IRE), placed second, ridden by Sean Quinlan, and Dellboy Trotter (IRE), placed third, ridden by Kevin Brogan.
Brogan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that he misjudged the size of the gap when angling around the heels of Release The Kraken (IRE), making contact with and forcing Bridge Road (IRE) off its intended line for several strides.
After jumping the third last hurdle, Bridge Road (IRE), placed second, edged left-handed at the same time as Release The Kraken (IRE), placed fourth, lugged slightly right-handed resulting in Dellboy Trotter (IRE), placed third, becoming tightened for room and Release The Kraken (IRE) becoming unbalanced after having its hindquarters turned.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Bridge Road (IRE).
Approaching the final hurdle, Release The Kraken (IRE), placed fourth, became unbalanced when switching around the heels of Bridge Road (IRE), placed second, making brief contact with Dellboy Trotter (IRE), placed third, which was carried off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
