He had some decent runs and he seemed to be handling the dig in the ground well so I wasn't certain about him going on the surface,. He was in such good form we said we'd give him a try on it and he handled it really well. I thought he would need the 7lb off him. Adam was to ride him but unfortunately got a bad dose of the flu so he missed out but Mikey did very well on him. He kept it simple and did well from his wide draw to get a good position on him. I'm delighted for the owner (Nasir Askar) who has been patient with his horses. He might keep on the go here as he's in great form and handled that really well.
