Shane came in and said Jessie was right, I was wrong. Mum has always liked this horse and the penny is only dropping with him. He could turn into a nice stayer. He’s a big baby and is only starting to grow into his frame. Hopefully there might be a few more races to be won with him.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Yulong Pearlisland, ridden by S
Foley, placed first and Dazzling Darren, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and they therefore made no alteration to the judges placings and took no further action.
An extended handicap for three years old only rated 60-90
