An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving the winner, BILL’S BAAR (IRE) ridden by Dougie Costello; Turkish Tiger (GB), unplaced, ridden by Faye McManoman and Glory Hyde (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Tom Marquand.
The interference was found to be accidental as Turkish Tiger (GB) shied left away from BILL’S BARR (IRE) giving a slight bump to Glory Hyde (IRE) which was taken slightly off its intended line, resulting in Marquand having to take a check off heels.
Following the race, Dale Swift reported that Gottomakeashilling (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
